Menoufia University Explores Collaboration Opportunities with Integrated Scientific Group (ISG)

As part of supporting collaboration between Egyptian universities and the industrial sector, Dr. Ahmed Farag Al-Qasid, President of Menoufia University, received Ms. Mona Khairy Farid, Chairperson of the Board of Integrated Scientific Group (ISG), to discuss potential areas of joint cooperation, in the presence of Dr. Ikrami Gamal, Secretary-General of the University.

The university president welcomed the ISG delegation, emphasizing that collaboration between the two sides is already underway in several projects at Menoufia University and Menoufia National University. He highlighted the importance of ISG as a distinguished industrial partner through its industrial arm, Arias Egypt Factory in Sadat City, one of the leading industrial entities locally and regionally in the field of laboratory equipment and scientific infrastructure.

Dr. Ahmed Al-Qasid also noted that the university has an ambitious expansion plan including major projects such as the Cancer Institute, the new Medical City, the Technological University, and the International University in Sadat City, expressing his full welcome for cooperation with ISG and its affiliated factories in accordance with the governing laws and regulations.

On her part, Ms. Mona Khairy Farid expressed her pleasure in cooperating with Menoufia University, praising its long-standing history. She confirmed that ISG places special emphasis on partnerships with Egyptian universities to support industrial development and applied education.

She explained that ISG and its affiliated companies, including Arias Egypt – Origin – Zatus – Swident – Egypt Steel, actively contribute to the implementation of numerous national projects and provide laboratory equipment and scientific infrastructure for public, technological, and private universities, as well as other authorities, in line with the national vision to support education and scientific research.
